Message

Our group's mission is to create groundbreaking, UBE-original specialty materials that are not extensions of existing technology. Additionally, by dispatching personnel to external institutions such as universities, we aim to develop researchers who can promote DX using PI and MI, and build a new research style.

Heat-Dissipating Materials
We are engaged in the research and development of new heat-dissipating materials using sintering technology for inorganic powders. One example of its application is heat-dissipating plate for power semiconductor modules.

Flow-Synthesized Nanoparticles
We are advancing research and development on novel nanoparticles with core-shell structures utilizing flow synthesis technology*. The synthesized nanoparticles are expected to have various applications in fields such as optical materials, paints, sintering pastes for electronics, catalysts, and in vitro diagnostics in biochemistry.

Polymer Porous Membrane
By combining "material design technology," "microphase separation control technology," and "polymer processing technology" that UBE has accumulated over the years, we can create various polymer porous structures. One example is the polyimide porous membrane. We propose a variety of porous structures with variations in membrane thickness, porosity, pore size distribution, and more.
