At the Sogo Fukushi Kaikan Hall in Ube, we held a ceremony to hand over instruments purchased using the money raised from tickets sold at the 15th UBE Classical Concert as well as to donate the remaining proceeds.
This event has been held annually since 2008 as a part of our CSR initiatives, where all the money raised from sales at the UBE Classical Concert is given to various local music-related organizations. This time, flutes, clarinets, and other instruments were donated to three junior high schools in Ube, and charitable donations were made to three organizations based in the city.
